The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, Statutory Instrument No 128 stipulates that if you have any form of pressurised equipment, it has to be serviced and inspected by a “competent” person.

This includes Pressure units, Booster units, Pressure Vessels and ancillary equipment.
