O2-X Vacuum Degasser Installation
We recently installed this O2-X vacuum Degasser and magnetite filter at a site in Central Manchester. The benefits of a vacuum degasser are significant. For example, it removes harmful gases from system content, this makes the system more efficient but also helps protect and prolong the life of system pipework, plates and pumps.
Over time Vacuum Degassers contribute to energy savings due to the system becoming more efficient. In Sweden research has demonstrated energy usage is reduced and this is typically anywhere between 5-10%. We modified all pipework to suit the new unit and set the unit up for a 30 day intense degassing cycle, after which it will degass intermittently to keep on top of system content.
The magnetite filter pulls dirt and sludge out of the system and can be cleaned out regularly to aid system condition!
