Calpeda Easymat Installation – Emergency Works

We carried out this installation for Hydraclean as emergency works following the complete failure of the existing Cold Water Booster Unit at this site in Stevenage.

Fortunately, Hydraclean were able to attend the same day as the failure and install a temporary bypass to keep water on to the building.

This allowed us time to quickly source a new twin-pump booster set from Calpeda which they had on the shelf in the UK. This allowed us to get the booster on expedited delivery and attend site in just a few days to install the new unit.

Our engineers Antony Chesters and Adam Brown attended site and had the new set installed within a few hours, they modified all pipework and electrics to suit the new unit and installed a new low water float switch to provide pump protection.
