Ebara Matrix Range – Cold Water Booster Set Installation

Recently, whilst working up in Aviemore, we were asked to look at another problematic booster set they had on site. We had been nursing the set along for some time and eventually it had 1no. failed pump, failed pump vessel and some control issues in the sense the main isolator had failed and been linked out, there was arcing on the contactors and the ACR Relay had failed. Whilst all repairable, we had been recommending replacing it with a variable speed set for some time, so given the multitude of issues site agreed with our recommendation.

Therefore, we returned to site the following week with a new Ebara Booster Set as the hotel was closed for a maintenance day. Our engineers quickly removed the existing unit and cleared from site. Installing the new Ebara Matrix set in the existing space, with some minor electrical and pipework modifications the new set was online within a couple of hours. A smart, cost-effective upgrade for this client; with the added benefit of energy savings thanks to switching to variable speed.
