Emergency Booster Set Replacement – Liverpool

We recently completed this emergency booster set replacement at a site in Central Liverpool.

The existing unit had failed completely and caused a water outage in the building. We had been quoting the unit for replacement for some time as 1-pump is already failed, the vessel was U/S and it was a poor setup.

When the set eventually failed, we attended and temporarily restored water. In the meantime, we quickly worked with Xylem and managed to arrange purchase of a twin-pump Hydrovar X unit. This was all arranged quickly and we attended site that night to install it as emergency works.

Thanks to our extensive stocks at our Manchester base we had all the materials to modify the pipework and electrics and get this back up and running through the night, ready for the office opening the following morning.

Installed by Antony Chesters and Adam Brown this was our first install of the new Hydrovar X and we are very excited by this innovative product which has fantastic user friendly controls.
