GUV30/33SV installation – Premium Hotel in Central Manchester

We recently installed this Xylem GUV30/33SV set at a premium hotel in Central Manchester.

The existing set was obsolete and down to a single pump, constantly running to maintain water to the hotel.

This was a big job for us, both the existing set and the new set had to be completely dismantled to allow removal/installation in this first floor plantroom. We also modified the entirety of the suction pipework in 5” PVC to ensure equal draw off from the storage tanks. A small 8”x5” stainless steel spool piece for the discharge finished the install off nicely.

We continue to be impressed with the Hydrovar X, as do our customers. Sleek, intelligent equipment that will provide considerable energy savings for this site as we were able to drop a kW size; plus the modern equipment is much more efficient than the 19 year old booster set before.
