H-Line High Flow Dynamic Pressurisation Unit Install
This H-Line installation took place in a very large residential building in Liverpool. The existing unit had a failed diaphragm, failed spill valves and down to one pump. It had been the standby unit for sometime and only used as the backup, however, when the primary unit developed some faults it highlighted the need for the client to upgrade this unit for the long term.
Step forward the H-Line! We have utilised the high flow unit on a couple of projects previously and it comes into its own on large schemes with multiple Megawatts of heat input.
We also installed 2no. 650-litre Polyethylene expansion tanks and modified all the pipework and electrics to suit. The unit was up and running after one long day, with a second day on site for finishing off / clearing site.
A tough job for the engineers as the existing vessel had to be cut up into pieces to allow it to be removed from site.
Tough but rewarding, as this is a fantastic installation that means this site have 2no. reliable dynamic units.
