H-Line Replaces Failed Spill and Fill
PressBoost recently installed this H-Line and 3no. 500 litre Polyethylene expansion tanks to a hotel in Blackpool. The existing unit had failed completely some time ago and had been bypassed by others as an emergency measure. The steel spill tank had corroded in several places and was leaking system water all over the plantroom.
At some point a safety valve had lifted and sprayed brown sludge all over the unit. The expansion vessel had failed, spill solenoid failed and both pumps could not deliver pressure. After putting up a good fight, this unit needed replacing. As you can see from the pictures, space is non-existent in the plantroom and the existing unit had been heavily built around. This is where the H-Line comes into its own. The H-Line unit has a low profile sleek design in comparison to most dynamic pressurisation units and can easily be located in any plantroom. Then we installed the 3no. slimline 500 litre expansion tanks and close coupled them.
A truly unique Pressurisation Unit that affords so much versatility at installation. The polyethylene expansion tanks will not corrode and will contribute to a much cleaner system than the brown sludge which had leaked out from the previous spill tank. Given the overall condition of the system, we have quoted for a vacuum degasser to help with the ongoing water treatment works and await this installation going ahead.
Another fantastic installation from the team, and another demonstration of the growing stature and versatility of the H-Line.
