HL Hydronics Unit Upgrade at North West Academy High School
PressBoost recently completed a major pressurisation upgrade at a large academy high school in the North West. The existing system had become increasingly unreliable, with multiple issues affecting performance—including a problematic pressure unit and four failed 600-litre expansion vessels.
Our team replaced the entire setup with a modern H-Line dynamic pressurisation unit, accompanied by two 650-litre polyethylene tanks. This upgrade significantly improves the system’s ability to manage contraction, expansion, and automatic refilling.
In addition to improved performance and efficiency, the project also removed four separate assets from the school’s Written Scheme of Examination—reducing compliance overhead and simplifying future inspections.
The new system provides a more robust, streamlined solution that will serve the academy reliably for years to come.
