Xylem GHV20 Hydrovar X Installation – Wigan

This twin-pump Hydrovar X installation was carried out as emergency works at a hotel in Wigan in late 2025.
The existing set initially suffered complete failure before water was restored temporarily and we were asked to quote a full replacement by a new customer.

Time was off the essence in this one, due to the precarious nature of the situation, water only restored temporarily on one pump.

Therefore, we looked at what stock options we had. We had a stock twin pump set rather than 3 pump existing. We carried out a sizing calculation for the hotel based on actual demand and found our stock set comfortably met demand in a Duty/Standby application. Therefore, we offered this as our quickest/recommended option.

The customer agreed and our engineers carried out this smart installation the following day. All completed during a planned interruption to water, an excellent install.
