Xylem Hydrovar X installations – Site in Bury

We completed these 2no. XylemUK GHV Hydrovar X installations to an apartment block in Bury late last year. We completed the installation of the 3-pump set first and site were impressed with the installation and the product, therefore, we were then instructed to proceed to replace another problematic set in the same plantroom some weeks later. After the first installation it was clear site wanted to use the full facet of technology available from the Hydrovar X and monitor these booster sets remotely. Therefore, we retrofitted Avensor technology to the recently installed 3-pump set. You can see in the pictures this is a separate control box fixed to the booster set control panel.

We then ordered the 2-pump set to come complete with Avensor already fitted out of Xylem Italy. This was then completed in one final install with both sets utilising this technology. Avensor is a real asset as it provides real time operating data and fault notification to give the end user control; with confidence they will know of any issues / interruptions immediately before receiving calls from unhappy tenants or building users. Avensor allows multiple users to monitor and track the same device, so both PressBoost and site are now tracking these two units and receive notifications of any interruptions / faults.

As a service provider it is reassuring to have this technology to use but even more satisfying see how much confidence in the product that it has given the customer. Fantastic equipment and installs to boot from our engineers Ben Brown and Kieran Shields.
