Conversion from Atmospheric to Boosted Supply

Shortly before Christmas we were called to a large indoor arena in the Northwest to look at poor water pressure in their offices.

We found the existing setup was a large storage tank in the roof providing atmospheric supply to the floors below. Whilst a common setup, this often causes poor water pressure on the top couple of floors closest to the water tank.

Therefore, we supplied and installed this Ebara twin pump booster set to boost the supply. The majority of these works were completed in normal working hours, with a short OOH cut in to minimise disruption to the offices below. The installation included a new electrical feed, new float switches for the tanks and modifying all pipework in copper and copper press to suit the new unit. A smart installation from our engineers Antony Chesters and Kieran Shields, and hopefully the start of a prosperous relationship with a new customer.
