Lowara Presfix Beta Installation in GRP Enclosure

We recently installed this Lowara Presfix Beta and Zilmet 100 litre expansion vessel at a site in Oldham. The existing unit was heavily dilapidated and corroded due to exposure to the elements with an inappropriate housing over it (the pictures speak for themselves!). The pipework was corroded and leaking, the panel stand had corroded away and it was leaning on the pumps and the expansion vessel was U/S. Due to access constraints the new housing had to be sized quite tightly but we had just enough space for what we needed.

Retaining the existing trace heating, whilst also making the installation look smart was difficult but the lads managed it well. We specified a pre-insulated @PureWater GRP enclosure to provide proper protection from the elements (and vermin in this instance). Our engineers @Antony Chesters @Andy Shelley and John Murphy made light work of the job and the before and after pictures speak for themselves. The Presfix Beta is a reliable upgrade for the old crumbling analogue unit, with just enough access for ongoing service and maintenance!
