Mains Water Conversion to Boosted Supply

This 8-storey building in Trafford Park recently ran out of water to the top two floors due to ever decreasing mains pressure. This caused large scale operational issues on site and as such they quickly needed a permanent solution to boost the water to the property.

Working with our customer Equans and their site team we were able to locate a room on site that we could utilise for tanks and booster set and we quickly sourced the equipment needed.

We then attended over the course of two days and modified the incoming mains to feed 2no. new storage tanks, and installed a Lowara GHV20 Hydrovar X Booster Set to boost the supply to the property.

The entire property now has boosted supply and a future proof solution for their water distribution.

A highly practical installation: 2no. tanks to allow for future maintenance without disruption, new booster set benefits from highly efficient IE5 rated motors, a flow through expansion vessel and valve and fantastic Hydrovar X inverters.
