North West Court Building – Booster Replacement
PressBoost recently completed a successful booster set replacement at a large court building in the North West. The original system, which featured outdated fixed-speed pumps and a failed pressure vessel, had been operating inefficiently for some time. By the time of replacement, the building was relying on a single, noisy pump—raising both operational concerns and energy costs.
Our team, comprising Antony Chesters, Andrew Shelley, and John Murphy, installed a modern variable-speed booster unit featuring IE5 motors and IES2-rated drives. This highly efficient solution not only delivers quieter operation but also comes with a significantly lower kilowatt rating. As a result, the site is now set to benefit from substantial energy savings and improved system reliability.
