Salford Hydrovar X Install

We recently attended a site in Salford where the existing 3-pump booster set was being maintained by another company and had failed completely. Time was of the essence as this meant the building was temporarily fed by another booster set. Fortunately, we were asked to price the works and then given the go ahead to proceed with the job.

We received the new Xylem 3-pump Hydrovar X booster set on an expedited delivery within 5 days so our engineers Antony Chesters, Carl Rogerson and Kieran Shields were able to swiftly carry out this very smart installation.

The new booster set utilises the existing plinth well and the suction pipework was like for like in this instance. A small amount of discharge modification with stainless steel spool piece to connect onto existing pipework competed the works.

The installation was completed in one day with no interruption given the unit was on bypass. This Salford site has another booster set which has also now been quoted for and we are looking forward to working with them more closely in the future.
