This site in Manchester had an array of problems with the existing twin pump fixed speed booster unit. Most controls were u/s, both pumps were in poor condition and are now obsolete. As you can see from the pictures below the unit was extremely dilapidated and ageing:

As a result PressBoost installed a twin pump (horizontally mounted) variable speed Lowara set complete with 2 inverters, 2 accumulator vessels and 2 pressure transducers making the unit completely fail safe:

The new unit being variable speed represents considerable energy savings for site as the existing unit was running fixed speed.
