This installation was carried out at the RAC building, Birmingham. The existing Armstrong unit was completely u/s. The pumps needed replacing but were obsolete. The pipework within the unit was leaking and steadily corroding the unit. The non return valve and system gauge were also u/s. Therefore, PressBoost installed a twin pump, digitally controlled Lowara Presfix Beta. As you can see from the pictures below, we were able to re-use the existing plinth. As well as the Pressurisation unit, one of the existing 750 litre vessels was also u/s. PressBoost installed a Zilmet 750 litre vessel with safety valve and downpipe, we were again able to re-use the existing plinth. The site had a budget to work within, so we were able to retain one of the existing vessels. PressBoost can supply and install vessels ranging from 2 litre to 1000 litre, we carry 2 – 500 litre 10 Bar rated vessels as stock, other sizes and ratings can be sourced overnight.
